Eggs are nutritious, full of protein, vitamins and minerals. They are a great convenience food when cooked on their own, either scrambled, poached, boiled or fried, or used to make dishes such as omelettes, frittatas, soufflés, pancakes, sauces or cakes, or as a glaze on breads and pies.
